I made the appt yesterday during my lunch break for tomorrow (today 8-31-10) at 9:30. I realized yesterday after I had dinner that I didn't have any nice resumes already printed out to hand to the dentist when I arrived because I had mailed them all away to other dentists.
Because of this I stopped at Office Max right next to the dental office. I had my resume on the flash drive and I had brought my resume paper so they normally charge you 8 cents per page (I had my references on a separate page just in case he wanted them so 2 pages) The lady copied them and said
"you can just take them it's only like 20 cents"
This made me happy. Even though it was only 20 cents I got very excited! I took it as a good sign.
When I got there my old classmate Kara was coming out from being interviewed. So she sat and talked to me for a min and than the Doctor came out. The interview lasted about a hour and he said he would then e-mail me to set up a working interview.
This is for a Wed. 11-8 job. Possibly in the future... picking up Monday 8-5 but that is TBA.
