I'm moving tomorrow!!! Apparently I don't know enough people, to know someone who owns a truck. So my parents are helping me rent a pickup because I'm too young to rent one myself... And my bros are helping me with my almost non existant furniture/bed. I put in my notice at work for the 31st and my last day at the VA is the 29th!
OH! My spray on Sunblock and the Air duster thing...set off the gas alarm/Carbon Monoxide deaf machine when used in the basement. I usually only use the spray-on when I'm in a hurry and at that point I forget about the alarm.
Exciting post...I know!
Last thing,
My dad's boss went to Tokyo and brought my dad back some chopsticks and said
"Here, I think your daughter might like these" Looking forward to using my Fuji chops!!!! I only have about 6 pairs of chopsticks left...you can not have too many! They are very useful. Which reminds me. When I go out to those Asian restaurants...I expect to use chop sticks, and not just me, everyone I go with. Point is, use them or disappoint me!
I freaked out last night around 2:00AM. I was flipping channels trying to fall asleep and then I saw the Wonder Girls on TV?!?!?
I was like- What's going on! I must be out of it...
Here is what I saw, it's a little off but this is it.
I have mixed feeling about this. Mostly I was surprised. This is good, I like it when cultures mix!

I personally don't really care for the Wonder Girls but I am impressed by them, busy ladies!

I'm curious to see how them debuting here affects people. I predict K-pop will of course be more popular. As well as the entire Korean Culture. I see little girls who like the Jonas Brothers Looking on the internet all about Korean things.
Maybe people will be more open minded about Mixed Korean relationships and more Korean men will be open to and looking for white ladies.
But I'll probably never know. I can see it though!
For my last patient at the VA today, the assistant took my to the side and gave me a warning about how my soon-to-be patient can be.
It didn't get too bad he said some things...that I was like... "oooookay, that's a little creepy" He randomly grabbed my arms once. So not too bad.
Here are bits of two conversations we had... oh there were many!!!
Me-"You doing alright?" Him-Oh you're so sweet. You're so sweet-I want to take your head and rest it on my arm till my arm goes numb whispering sweet nothings into your ear and then slowly lick your sweet ear. Me-Don't worry I'm not so sweet (as I try to continue scaling...)
Him-Do you have any pets Me-Yes, I have a cat (while flossing) Him-I have a cat too. I like cats. I went for a walk once and saw a cat on the sidewalk, he had a can around his neck. The cat was already dead. Me-No, don't tell me that.
I know we are all a bit weird but who says that out loud to people you just met...VA people never fail to entertain me.
Another thing that happened today. There are three people on my "Hate List" Yes, that is because I hate them and I hold grudges. Each for several reasons. (It's ok if you don't understand but that's how it is.) One lives up my parents street who I refer to as "ant" (the insect).
Every Monday, I have a girls night at a friends house and today I was in charge of bringing some french bread. So I stopped at Wal-mart and I was standing in line next to the door and the ant walked through with his fiance.
I was staring blankly ahead in that direction. Apparenlty I've been avoiding the ant for so long I forgot what he looked like. The ant said "Hello"
I just stare at the ant and look to my left and right like-Who's this guy talking to?
And then he says "Hi" I give a half smile and the ant goes on saying "Hi Gin, how are you?" and then the voice clicked and I was like........ NOOOOO!!!! I was glaring all the way to my car.
This guy knows I hate him. Aside from that...
What kind of family is it that when they know you hate someone they still continuously invite this ant over?! Yes I'm steaming...

My classmate Sarah had her wedding last week, the short wedding was in Topeka and the Reception was in Hoyt, Kansas. I've never been to Hoyt before but I felt that I drove through most of it trying to find the community center building. Also I loved that even though I'd never been, four people followed me! Surprise! I didn't get lost, I'm lucky it was easy to find.
I talked to the lady with the Cello, she was adorably funny! There were a lot of kids and she had the same idea about them as I did.
I wasn't irritated with their wedding because the religious man didn't say much. They wrote and read their own vows. The wedding ceremony lasted five minutes and I didn't hear a word of it. I also liked that it had a very casual feel, the guys didn't wear suits.
They let their dog Olie in on everything, even walking them up the rows, very cute.
It was out side and it was HOT and STICKY! Some of the second years were there and my old roommate drove up from McPherson too.
I decided to wear the same thing I wore for Gina's wedding. Mostly because it was easier and I don't like shopping so it worked out that way.

My car only has the Radio and a tape player. I borrowed my mom's tapes and I've been listening the life out of her Carpenter's tapes. I did a project in 7th grade of the Carpenters and their song Mr. Guder. Everytime I listen to them it cracks me up how cheesy it makes me feel. I feel like grinning and doing the double handed point...yeah. Here are the two songs that remind me of the Carpenters

Every year we need to have the TB skin test. I had it done at the Shawnee Health clinic for $14. They had the band aid ready but didn't give it to me because I was not bleeding but by the time I got into my car and was half way home this is what it looked like. I go back Thursday to have it read. Oh...this test is painless if you didn't already know this.
I went to overland park last night because today I didn't have a VA assignment. I scheduled today to have my washer and dryer picked up as well as returning the modem and running other errands. They say they will be there between 8:00AM-3:00PM and someone needs to be there. At least this time the pick up guy came at 12:30 instead of 2:45 like last time. The pickup guy was complaining to me the entire time not only did he complain but he also scratched the paint off my door. They charge you $40 to have them pick it up. So much goes into renting an apartment. I am looking forward to not having a contract and not having to pay 6 different utility bills!
(and yes that is my house number...live with it)
